Pang Chicharon raw chicken skin

Also called Chicharrón is a Spanish name for what is known to us as nibbling bacon, only this one can be made from chicken skin. The skin tends to puff up when it comes into contact with hot oil, making it nice and airy and crispy. This is somewhat the same effect as popcorn or prawn crackers. This snack is light and fluffy and is salted. Delicious in combination with a spicy dip of vinegar or other spicy sauces.

Bereidingswijze:

1. Boil in salted water until tender
2. Let it drain and until it is dry
3. Pass through the cornflour and fry until golden brown in hot oil
4. Remove it from the oil and let it drain on kitchen paper
5. Serve with vinegar for dipping
