Menudo Recipe Mix
This is a traditional dish from the Philippines. This stew is somewhat comparable to the Mexican dish, except that tripe and red chili peppers are not used in the Philippines. The Filipino menudo is based on pork and possibly veal liver with tomato sauce. In almost every city in the Philippines, Menudo can be found at the dinner table during parties, gatherings. In addition to being so common in the Philippines, the recipe for this dish can vary by region. One puts in hot dogs, green peas and the other uses raisins again. The most traditional version consists of garlic, onion, tomato, pork, liver, potato cubes, raisins, carrot cubes, green peppers and soy sauce, calamansi or tomato sauce.
- 1/2 kg of meat, diced
- 100 g pork liver, cubed
- 240ml water
- 2 tablespoons. boiling oil
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 medium bell pepper
- Fry the meat in oil.
- Add potatoes and carrots
- Add water and stir in the McCormick Menudo Recipe Mix
- Cook until the meat is tender.
- Add liver and bell pepper
- Simmer until the sauce thickens.
