Strawberry Jelly Powder

Jelly desserts are always fun and colorful treats that can be made in different flavors and colors. One of the nice things about jelly is that it is transparent, making it beautiful to present together with fruits, for example. Contains vitamin D, calcium, and fiber.

Difference Between Gelatin and Gulaman

In Asian cuisine, the terms gelatin and gulaman are often used interchangeably, but there are clear differences. Gelatin is derived from animal bones and therefore contains a high amount of protein. Gulaman, on the other hand, is a plant-based gelling agent, making it suitable for vegetarians. Another difference is that gelatin dissolves in warm water, while gulaman requires boiling water to dissolve properly.

Preparation Method

  1. Mix Nutrijell thoroughly with 200 grams of sugar, or according to taste.
  2. Add 700 ml of water to the mixture, stir well until everything is dissolved, and bring it to a boil.
  3. Turn off the heat, wait 3 minutes, then add the fruity acid powder (included). Stir well.
  4. Pour the Nutrijell into the desired mold and chill thoroughly.
  5. After cooling, briefly dip the mold in water without wetting the jelly itself.
  6. The jelly can then be inverted onto a plate for serving.
