What is peanut butter?

The English name Peanut butter refers more to the mixture of peanuts mixed with the oil, creating a sort of buttery structure. The reason why the name Peanut butter was chosen in the Netherlands arises from the period of 1950 when Peanut butter was brought onto the Dutch market. However, the name butter had been claimed by the company that had made real butter, so the name Peanut cheese was used as a market name.
