Straw Mushrooms

This variant is a Chinese variety and is comparable to our mushrooms. The taste is very similar to that of the mushrooms. This mushroom has a cap that is not yet fully grown and therefore has grown more inward. These mushrooms are grown on straw and are therefore called straw mushrooms. First, let these canned mushrooms drain well and cut the mushroom in half before use and let the moisture run out. Delicious in various vegetable stews.
