Mangosteen tea

This tea is a traditional Asian tea without natural additives. Made from pure dried mangosteen. Mangosteen is a sweet, tasty tropical fruit. The fruit contains special oxidants such as xanthones.

Mangosteen

The mangosteen is a berry with a diameter of 3-8 cm, which retains a wreath of four woody sepals. The berry has a firm, tough, leathery, smooth skin up to 1.5 cm thick, which is fully ripe dark purple-brown or red-violet in color. Under the skin is a wreath of four to eight thick, soft, juicy, snow-white seed coats. Of the seed coats, one to five contains a flat seed, but there are also seedless fruits. The seed coats have a sweet and sour taste, the taste is somewhat reminiscent of lychee.

Preparation
Let a tea bag infuse for at least 5 minutes in a glass or cup of boiled water.
Storage tips
Keep the tea in a cool and dry place.
