Preparation and storage

Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal well and keep refrigerated for a maximum of 3–4 days. Leftover sauce can be frozen for later use.

Recipe – ingredients

• 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
• 1 finely chopped onion
• 250 g minced meat
• 3 hotdogs, sliced
• 0.25 litre water
• 500 ml Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce
• 500 g cooked spaghetti
• 125 g grated cheese
• Salt and pepper

Method

1. Brown the minced meat with the onion and garlic, breaking it up as it cooks.
2. Add the sliced hotdogs, water, salt and pepper, and simmer to reduce slightly.
3. Add 500 ml Sweet Style spaghetti sauce and stir continuously while cooking for another 3 minutes.
4. Toss the sauce with the spaghetti and sprinkle with grated cheese.
