Soy Sauce 200 ml
Soy sauce from Umami is not just any soy sauce, it is a sauce that does not dominate but gets the best taste from the product you combine it with.
There are many types of soy sauces available on the Dutch market. Most are often combined with sushi and sashimi, but generally have in common that they are somewhat saltier, so that the dish loses its identity. Umami is originally a Japanese word which means "delicious" or hearty. Umami is recognized by scientists as the fifth flavor a person can taste. Umami is a very good quality soy sauce that is perfect for combining with fish dishes. Umami enhances and intensifies the taste of the various dishes, which means that the identity is preserved even better.
Since 1985 it has been scientifically recognized that Umami is a fifth taste that we as humans can taste. This fifth flavor cannot be produced by combining the other 4 traditional flavors.
