Sambal Goreng Ati Bumbu

 Sambal Goreng is actually a dish that can be made with many ingredients. The name sambal goreng actually stands for fried sambal. The Indonesian name Ati means the liver that has to be baked with this variant. The herbal blend is perfectly balanced and gives you the opportunity to put something delicious on the table.

Necessities:

  • 250 g of gizzard or liver (chicken or beef)
  • 250 gr potato, diced, baked
  • 65 ml thick coconut milk
  • 100 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Optional: petai beans, red pepper flakes

How to prepare:

  • Cook the liver until tender
  • Remove from the water and allow it to cool
  • Cut the liver into small cubes
  • Put the oil in a pan and heat it
  • Add the bamboo seasoning mix (and petai beans, if desired) and fry for about 1 minute
  • Stir in the chopped liver, stir-fry for another 4 minutes
  • Pour in coconut milk. Let it simmer for 10 minutes
  • Stir in the fried potato and let it simmer for another 2 minutes
  • Serve with rice
