Pork Longanisa 340 gr
Pork Longanisa from Argentina are Filipino sausages with a rich, savory flavor, made from tender pork following a traditional recipe.
Pork Longanisa
The term longanisa comes from the Spanish longaniza, but the Filipino version is quite different: this Pork Longanisa from Argentina is not dry and needs to be pan-fried first, similar to small breakfast sausages.
Filipino longanisa is known for its distinctive, slightly sweet flavor — a recipe that varies by region. This Argentina version has a mild, sweet taste and comes in a pack of eight pieces. It’s traditionally enjoyed for breakfast or dinner, often as part of the popular dish longsilog — fried rice with egg and longanisa.
Cooking instructions:
- Heat a small amount of 2 cm of water in a pot
- Add the longanisa and cook them until the meat is cooked and the water evaporates.
- Fry the longanisa in his own fat in same pot and put a little bit cooking oil
- Fry them until the sausages are brown.
