BDMP Dried Tiny Squid contains small dried squid with a concentrated, distinctive seafood flavour. Smaller squid generally have a finer texture than larger specimens. This product from Thailand is sold frozen and must be cooked before eating; it is not ready to eat.
Use dried squid in Asian rice dishes, noodles, stir-fries and soups. Depending on your recipe, fry, grill, deep-fry or stew it. In Filipino cuisine, dried squid, also known as tuyong pusit, is often served with warm rice or garlic rice and a vinegar dipping sauce, sometimes flavoured with chilli and garlic.
Serve the cooked squid with garlic rice and vinegar dipping sauce with chilli and garlic. Squid often have an elongated body, a pointed rear section and ten arms/tentacles; the exact squid species in this product is not specified.
