Make crispy Kentucky-style chicken pieces or wings at home with Unifood Kentucky Coating. This ready-to-use seasoned flour mix from Indonesia is used both as a dry coating and as a batter to give fried chicken a crisp crust.

The mix contains flour, rice flour, tapioca flour, black pepper and nutmeg, among other ingredients. Just add cold water to prepare the batter. Ideal for parties, family meals or whenever you want to serve homemade crispy fried chicken.

Preparation

1. Mix 2 tablespoons of Kentucky Coating with 7 tablespoons of cold water to make a batter. Set the remaining dry mix aside.
2. Coat the chicken pieces in the dry mix.
3. Dip the chicken pieces into the batter.
4. Coat the chicken pieces in the dry mix once more.
5. Fry over medium heat until golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
6. Serve the chicken.
