Sarirasa Opor Boemboe makes it easy to prepare Indonesian-style opor at home. This ready-to-use seasoning paste offers a mild, aromatic flavour and saves you from grinding and combining spices yourself. One well-known version is Opor Ayam, chicken cooked in a spiced coconut milk sauce.
According to the supplied instructions, the paste can be prepared with chicken or pork. Serve with steamed rice, lontong or ketupat, and add vegetables or boiled eggs if you like. Sarirasa also offers seasoning pastes for dishes including Babi Ketjap, Nasi Goreng, Soto and Sajoer Lodeh.
Fry the paste in oil first to release its aroma. Serve opor with rice, lontong or ketupat. For other dishes, combine with meat, fish, eggs, tofu, tempeh and/or vegetables to taste, adding water and/or santen (coconut) as desired.

Preparation
- Fry the contents in approximately 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Add 1½ cups of water, 1/5 block of santen and 500 g of chopped pork or chicken.
- Simmer until the meat is fully cooked and the sauce reaches the desired thickness.
