Quick N Easy Mechado Sauce mix

Ingredients: (makes 5 servings)

• 350 gr Beef round, cut into chuncks
• 100 gr Potato, cut into chunks
• 5 pc Onion, whole, peeled
• 1 pouch Del Monte Quick N Easy Mechado Sauce

How to prepare:

• Cover and simmer beef in 1 1/2 cups water for 45 minutes or until tender. Add more water if needed
• Drain the broth , but reserve ¾ cup of it. Put back the beef in the pan and pour in the reserved broth
• Add the potatoes and onion. Cover and simmer until potatoes are half tender
• Add Del Monte Quick N Easy Mechado Sauce ¼ tsp fine salt and 1 tsp sugar.
• Cover and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes
• Serve with rice
