Hoen Kwe Red Cake flour

This flour is made of small green mung beans. These beans are known from the bean sprouts since this is the non-germinated version. This flour sold in this cylinder shaped rolls are ready for use and available in various colors. This type of flour is used to cakes, pudding or sweet dishes.

Amenities:

Red layer

  • Hoen Kwe Cake flour Red (50 gr / 1/2 tube)
  • Fine sugar (60 gr)
  • salt (1 gr)
  • Coconut Milk (450 ml)

Green layer

  • Hoen Kwe Cake flour White (50 gr / 1/2 tube)
  • Fine sugar (60 gr)
  • salt (1 gr)
  • Coconut Milk (450 ml)

Preparation:

  1. Mix all ingredients for the red and white in a separate bowl
  2. Heat a round or rectangular dish in the steamer
  3. Pour a thin layer of red mixture in the mold and steam for 5 minutes
  4. Pour a thin layer of white mixture in the mold on the red Layer and steam until set
  5. Repeat the above steps until you finish all the mixture
  6. Steam for approximately 10 minutes until it's cooked and chill in the refrigerator
